Flanagan Ireland Tour

august 4 - 7 2026

We’re thrilled to announce a special short tour to attend the Michael A. Flanagan Banjo Award in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in August 2026. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate together with family and friends in one of the most vibrant cities on the island. Full details can be found here.

We’d love for you to join us. This promises to be an unforgettable experience, and we’ve partnered with the outstanding team at Ireland Whiskey Tours, led by Gary—part of Michael Radler’s own tour company. You’ll be in great hands from start to finish.

The three-night tour is centered around the award celebration, designed to give you the perfect balance of structure and flexibility. You can easily extend your stay to explore more of Ireland at your own pace, or if you’d like a longer guided experience, Gary is happy to arrange a custom itinerary. You can reach out to him to discuss your plans.

Our goal is to make the Fleadh and the Belfast experience relaxed, memorable, and worry-free. With an experienced local guide, you’ll enjoy the very best of Irish hospitality and music culture.

Flights and additional activities are left open, giving you the freedom to shape the trip your way—stay for a few days or turn it into a longer adventure. We’re always here to help with any questions or travel support you might need but please note flights are not included in the package and you are required to arrange your own flights.

Airfares vary, so booking early is the best way to secure a good rate. Here are sample round-trip economy fares for a 7-day trip (August 2–9, 2026) as of October 2024:

  • Albany – Dublin (United, 1 stop): $819

  • Boston – Dublin (Aer Lingus, nonstop): $475

  • NYC (JFK) – Dublin (Aer Lingus, nonstop): $378

Prices fluctuate, but early booking is always an advantage. Once in Ireland, it’s easy and affordable to explore further using European airlines such as Ryanair.

We hope you’ll consider joining us for this special trip. It’s a rare chance to share in the celebration, experience the Fleadh, and make lifelong memories in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions—we’d love to have you along.
