Your donation allows us to connect people and create partnerships in the United Stated and Ireland. We award the Michael A. Flanagan Traditional Irish Music Banjo Award a the Fleadh Cheoil annually. In August 2026 the Festival is scheduled to be held in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The Fleadh runs from the 2nd until the 9th of August and the banjo award will be presented on Thursday, the 6th. Look for more exciting details to follow.

Please know that Brian was deeply committed to promoting our families effort to promote and recognize his grandfathers place in traditional Irish Music. Brian designed our Logo and the background pages for this website. He wrote the WIKI entry about the Flanagan Brothers and was always one of our strongest cheerleaders. He never wanted credit or attention but we couldn’t have gotten up and running with out him.
