Mick Moloney

In addition to his work as a musician (playing the mandolin and guitar along with the banjo), Mick Moloney was a folklorist and scholar. He was artistic director of several arts tours, and in 1977 founded Green Fields of America. His work in the late 70s and early 80s was instrumental in recognizing the impact the Flanagan Brothers had on traditional Irish music.
